The Lakesiders are back at Maes Tegid for the first time in 2024, as we enter the real business end of the season with 10 games remaining!
It was an unbelievable climax to Phase One, as we took on Haverfordwest County in an enthralling finish which saw THREE goals scored in second half stoppage time! Goals from Josh Ukek, Iwan Roberts and Luke Wall would complete the comeback after trailing until the 86th minute, with Luke Wall's winner coming in the 9th minute of stoppage time to make it 3-2 to the Town.
Today's visitors ended their Phase One with a disappointing run of games, having been winless in four consecutive league games, including a 8-0 thumping from the league leaders The New Saints. The Met were also a couple minutes from victory in their last outing against Caernarfon Town, although an 87th minute equaliser from Danny Gosset would mean a share of the spoils.

Danger Man
Eliot Evans: The 32 year old helped his side secure a spot in the Championship Conference for the first time since the 2016/17 and 2017/18 season, scoring vital goals towards the end of Phase One. Evans has already beaten his goals tally for Phase One of last season, with two more than last season's tally and in three less games. The midfielder is now just one away from matching his total league tally from last season, having scored eight times so far this season.
Previous Meetings
The Town are without victory in our last five league meetings against today's visitors, with three defeats and two draws, with all defeats being by a one goal margin. The Lakesiders' last victory against the Met came in a 2-0 victory in the Nathaniel MG Cup Semi Final last season with goals from Chris Venables and Dave Edwards either side of the half. The most recent meeting between the both sides was a 1-0 defeat for the Town at Maes Tegid in mid-December, with Eliot Evans scoring the only goal of the game.
