Match Preview: Bala Town vs Cardiff Met

It's been a horrendous Championship Conference for the Lakesiders, with only one point gained since the split and with matters made worse following an embarrassing defeat to Caernarfon Town last weekend.
The Lakesiders were defeated by five goals to nil at the Oval last weekend, having only been a goal down at half time, it was then a second half to forget as four goals were put into Joel Torrance's goal with no response from the Town.
The Met sit a place above us in the league table and are almost guaranteed atleast a top five finish, having collected 10 points in the Championship Conference. However, their last outing would be a disappointing one, as The New Saints netted six goals in a 6-0 win.

Danger Man
Eliot Evans: The ever-present Eliot Evans is always a danger when he features, having scored six league goals in 26 appearances from Midfield. This season, Evans has already scored two goals against the Lakesiders, and will most definitely be a threat should he featured in today's encounter. Evans and his Met side will be looking to finish the normal league season off on a high, as they look to build momentum before going into the European Play-Offs.
Previous Meetings
The last meeting between the two sides would go in favour of the Met, as Eliot Evans and Ryan Reynolds scored either side of a George Newell goal to take the spoils in a 2-1 victory at Cyncoed Campus. Both sides played out an enthralling match of football in Phase One, as six goals were shared in a 3-3 draw with both sides leading at some point in the game. Our last meeting at Maes Tegid would end in a 1-0 victory for the team from the Capital, as Eliot Evans scored a first half goal to take the three points back down South.
