Match Preview: Bala Town vs Colwyn Bay

The Lakesiders return to Maes Tegid this afternoon, as we welcome fellow North Walians in Colwyn Bay, with the Town looking for a well needed win, following a run of seven winless matches in all competitions.

The Town come into this afternoon's match with no wins in our last seven matches in all competitions, having been knocked out of the Nathaniel MG Cup by Guilsfield and the SPFL Trust Trophy by Queen's Park, it really is a bad run of form from the Lakesiders. Our last outing saw a spirited performance against Newtown, however it wasn't enough to take any points home back to Bala.

Meanwhile, Colwyn Bay have experienced a tough opening to their maiden JD Cymru Premier campaign, recording two wins in their opening 10 fixtures. Their last outing would be in mid-week as they took on Prestatyn Town in the Nathaniel MG Cup, following the postponement of the original tie, in which they would go on to lose on penalties after a 2-2 draw in normal time.
