Match Preview: Bala Town vs Connah’s Quay Nomads
We look to bounce back to winning ways on matchday twelve with the visit of the champions Connah’s Quay Nomads to MaesTegid. The Nomads currently sit 10th in the league table having gone through a period of transition recently with the shock departure of long-serving manager Andy Morrison, with his assistant succeeding him to become the new head coach.
In the reverse fixture, we left the Deeside Stadium victorious thanks to a Dave Edwards peach of a free-kick which gave us the lead and was enough in the end to see us claim all three points.

Danger Man
Jamie Insall – Connah’s Quay have been one of the lowest-scoring teams in the league this season, and this has been one of the main reasons behind their struggle to reach the heights they have reached in recent years. One of their more dependent goal scorers in this campaign has been Jamie Insall, who has contributed eight goals so far this year. He did miss out last week which may see him be doubtful for Friday nights’ fixture. However, the Nomads definitely have the firepower from midfield if need be as Aeron Edwards proved last week when he scored a brace and contributed an assist in his side’s 4-0 win against Cefn Druids.
