For the fifth time this season both the Lakesiders and the Nomads meet to battle it out, however there's much more at stake in this meeting...This time, it's for a place in the JD Welsh Cup Final as both sides head to Flint Town's Essity Stadium this evening, with a chance of reaching the Final of the JD Welsh Cup.
The Town come into tonight's Semi Final on the back of a disappointing 3-2 defeat to 10 man Newtown last weekend, but have high hopes of reaching the Final following our recent Nathaniel MG Cup Final triumph over the Nomads just over a month ago. On the other hand, the Nomads come into tonight's match having secured their first three points of the Championship Conference after a 91st minute winner from Ryan Harrington.

Previous Meetings
The Lakesiders are without victory over the Nomads in the Cymru Premier in our last four meetings, however we have been on top in Cup competitions recently, following our penalty shootout victory in the Nathaniel MG Cup Final just less than a month ago, as the Town lifted the trophy for the first time in our history! The last time the Lakesiders came out on top in the league was in a 1-0 victory at the Deeside Stadium back in September 2021, as a Dave Edwards free-kick collected all three points after the Nomads Captain; George Horan was sent off. The most recent meeting saw both teams play out a competitive 1-1 draw in Deeside, as the hosts took the lead before being reduced to 10 men, before Adam Roscrow sent a pin point free kick into the back of the net to claw back a point late in the game.
