It's back to Maes Tegid for a midweek fixture this evening, as the Lakesiders welcome the old foe in Connah's Quay Nomads who we've had great battles with during our time in the top division, and we surely hope tonight will be no different!
The Town's last outing would end in disappointment despite picking up a point, as the Town succumbed to a last minute equaliser from Flint Town to make the score 2-2 after fighting back from 1-0 down.
The Nomads have seemed to struggle so far this season, with just three wins, three draws and five defeats and currently sit in 9th place in the table. Their last outing would end in a 0-0 draw against high flying Haverfordwest County, who sit in 2nd place after the first 12 fixtures.

Danger Man
Fumpa Mwandwe: The 23 year old joined from Newtown in the summer and is the joint top scorer for the Nomads in the JD Cymru Premier this season, with only Rhys Hughes equaling the Forward's tally so far with three goals. Mwandwe has also got off the mark in the Nathaniel MG Cup with a single goal in his only appearance thus far. The Nomads' summer signing will be a threat should he feature this evening, with his lightning fast pace and agility which will make him a handful down the wing.
Previous Meetings
It's been a mixed bag of results against the Nomads in recent meetings, with two league victories, two league draws and a JD Welsh Cup Semi Final defeat in our last five fixtures. The last meeting between the two sides was at the Essity Stadium in April this year, as both sides failed to find the net in a 0-0 draw. The last fixture that took place at Maes Tegid was from March this year, as George Newell's penalty in the 56th minute would be enough to secure a vital three points in the race for a European place last season.
