Colin Caton will be looking for an instant response from his men following Tuesday night’s heartbreak with a positive result against Flint Town. The Silkmen visit Maes Tegid on the back of a poor run of results having not won in six games.

The Lakesiders head into the game having won every game against Flint in recent history having beaten the side in both games across phase one in the past two seasons.

Danger Man

Michael Wilde – Being one of the standout signings of the summer Wilde has displayed he still has what it takes to compete with the very best amongst the Cymru Premier at the incredible age of 38. The former Nomads frontman sits 2nd in the Cymru Premier top goalscorers chart with 13 goals, behind only Declan McManus. He has guided the Silkmen to mounting a serious challenge for a place in Europe. The championship conference is now set to decide whether Wilde will play in European competition once more.

Previous Meetings

Our last meeting with the Silkmen took place at Maes Tegid where Bala blew the visitors away in a 3-1 victory that night. An outstanding Ollie Shannon was the man of the match as he scored a brace following Dave Edwards first-half effort. Jack Kenny did manage to get on the scoresheet late on, but it was merely a consolation as Bala coasted to victory.
