The Lakesiders head into Matchday Two looking for our first points of the season, as we host Haverfordwest County at Maes Tegid, hoping to kick start our league campaign.
Despite always being a tough and stubborn team to play, the Town recorded two wins and a draw against the Bluebirds last season, with a 6-2 league win, 3-1 JD Welsh Cup win and a 0-0 draw most recently in the league.

Danger Man
Jordan Davies - Following his loan move to the Bluebirds in January, Davies has impressed in blue and white colours, having grabbed six goals in eight appearances in the second half of the season. His form led to Haverfordwest acquiring his services on a permanent basis, signing from Connah's Quay Nomads, and has already got on the scoresheet on Matchday 1 of the Cymru Premier, scoring a header at the back post from a Henry Jones cross against Caernarfon Town, earning the Bluebirds their first three points of the season. The 26 year old will be a huge threat today should he feature, and will look to add to his tally early on in the season.
Previous Meetings
The Lakesiders came out on top on two occasions last season against the Bluebirds, with a 6-2 league victory and a 3-1 JD Welsh Cup victory. However, our most recent fixture was a bore draw at The Bridge Meadow stadium back in December 2021, despite both sides having good opportunities to take the spoils. Previously, the Bluebirds have managed to take all three points in a league fixture, when the South Wales side visited Maes Tegid in October 2020 and went home with a 2-1 victory, following a 93rd minute goal from Jack Wilson.
