We return to JD Cymru Premier action against Haverfordwest County this afternoon as we look to build on a promising performance in Deeside on Wednesday evening against Connah's Quay Nomads.
The Town come into today's fixture having only won one of our last seven league matches, however following the encouraging effort put in by the lads in Wednesday night's 1-1 draw against Connah's Quay Nomads, things look slightly more positive than they did in September.
The Bluebirds have also had their struggles in the early stages of this season, having won three, drawn four and lost five in their opening 12 games of the league season. Their last outing would be a positive one, as they clinched the three points in a 3-2 victory at home to Penybont.

Danger Man
Kai Whitmore: The 22 year old has found himself with three goals in his last three league appearances and is currently Haverfordwest's top goalscorer for the season with four goals in total. Whitmore's stellar performances in Europe for the Bluebirds this past summer showed a lot of promise for the Midfielder this season, and with only 12 league matches gone so far, there is plenty of time for him to replicate his inspiring efforts in Europe and lift the Bluebirds into European contention.
Previous Meetings
The Town are unbeaten in the last six meetings against the Bluebirds, with three victories and three draws. The last meeting saw the Town run out 4-1 winners at the Bridge Meadow Stadium with goals from George Newell, Nathan Peate and a brace from Adam Roscrow, with both sides being reduced to 10 men by the end of the match. The Bluebirds' last victory in this fixture came in October 2020 as a 93rd minute winner from Jack Wilson gave his side all three points on their visit to Maes Tegid.
