The Lakesiders return to Maes Tegid for our final home game of the season, with Newtown being the visitors. While the Town were granted a Domestic and UEFA license yesterday, there could be more reason to celebrate this evening, with the possibility of European Qualification being achieved should the Lakesiders better or match Caernarfon Town's result at The New Saints this evening.
It was disappointment in our last outing in the JD Welsh Cup Semi Final, as a 1-0 defeat to Connah's Quay Nomads dumped the Town out of the competition, with Nomads' Aron Williams scoring late on following Kieran Smith's red card minutes prior.
The Robins have struggled throughout Phase Two this season, with just the solitary 2-0 victory against Cardiff Met with just four points gained in total since the beginning of Phase Two, with their only other point coming against Connah's Quay Nomads in their latest outing.

Danger Man
Aaron Williams - The 30 year old sits in third place in the top goal scorers chart for the JD Cymru Premier with 16 goals, just two behind Connah's Quay's Jordan Davies and six behind The New Saints' Jordan Davies. Should Williams be fit and ready for tonight's game, he will be aiming to score his first goal in six matches in which he's made an appearance, after not finding the net since Newtown's 2-1 loss to the Lakesiders at the end of 2023. Although, having scored twice against the Lakesiders already this season, Colin Caton's men will be wary of his capabilities despite being on a poor run.
Previous Meetings
The Lakesiders hold the bragging rights over the Robins this season, having won two and lost one in the JD Cymru Premier. The most recent meeting was an emphatic one for the Town, having been ahead by four goals to one after the first 45 minutes saw Osebi Abadaki get on the scoresheet, alongside a six minute hat-trick from George Newell! Abadaki would then secure his brace in the second half, with the Town running away 5-1 victors. However, the Town had been on a winless run of four games against the Robins prior to December 2023, with four consecutive defeats stretching back to February 2023. The last meeting at Maes Tegid between the two sides ended with a 92nd minute winner from Joe Malkin to steal the three points, with the Robins having been ahead for the majority of the second half.
