The Lakesiders will play their last home game of the season this evening, as we welcome the Champions and our opponents in the JD Welsh Cup Final in just two weeks; The New Saints. In what's been a disappointing Champions Conference, the Town still aim to pick up their first win in the second half of the season, with just two fixtures remaining.
The New Saints have already captured the Cymru Premier title and can now look forward to the JD Welsh Cup Final in two weeks time, while the Lakesiders still have a possible Play-Off spot to contend, depending on how the final few results pan out with other Clubs still battling on for an automatic European qualification place.

Danger Man
Declan McManus - The league’s top goalscorer by far, and will most likely retain the Golden Boot for another season with 26 league goals so far this season. The Scotsman took the Cymru Premier by storm after signing for the Saints in the summer of 2021, collecting both Golden Boots available to him in the past two seasons and helping his side retain the Cymru Premier league twice. The 28 year old is currently in great form, having been involved in eight goals in his past three appearances, with seven goals and one assists. He will be the danger man for the Saints tonight should he feature!
Previous Meetings
The Lakesiders have suffered a torrid time against the Saints in recent meetings, having not managed a win against them in our last 13 meetings. Our last victory came in a 3-1 home win back in August of 2019, as goals from Louis Robles and a brace from Chris Venables sealed the three points at the start of the 2019/20 season. So far this season, the Town have managed a solitary goal against tonight's opponents in our most recent meeting as the Saints managed to steal all three points in a 2-1 defeat at Park Hall just over a month ago.
