For the first time in over six weeks, the Lakesiders return to Maes Tegid to kick start the festive month with a clash against the current JD Cymru Premier Champions; The New Saints.
The Town have failed to win any of their last eight league fixtures, and have remarkably only lost once in that time with seven draws to their name. The last league victory for the Lakesiders would be the famous 3-2 win against this evening's opponents at Park Hall back in September.
On the other hand, the New Saints have not drawn a single game in the league this season and currently sit in 2nd position just four points behind Penybont with two games in-hand. The Saints' busy schedule this season has seen them be defeated on four occasions in the league, but have put in very credible performances in Europe despite the mixed bag of results in the league for the Saints' standard.

Danger Man
Declan McManus: Having suffered with injury for large parts of last season and being kept out of the side by Brad Young, the Scotsman looks to be back firing for the Saints this season having netted eight goals in 12 appearances in domestic competitions so far. The 30 year old also put one past Astana in the UEFA Conference League League Phase at the tail end of October, and would then go on to score a goal in each of his next three JD Cymru Premier appearances despite only playing a combined total of 110 minutes out of a possible 270. McManus will surely be looking to climb up the goalscoring chart in the JD Cymru Premier, as he currently sits in joint 5th with Ollie Hulbert of Barry Town and Rhys Hughes of Connah's Quay Nomads leading the way
Previous Meetings
The Lakesiders came out on top in their last league fixture against the New Saints, where two late goals from Alex Downes and Hussein Mehasseb turned the game on its head at Park Hall and the Town would snatch the three points in a remarkable turn around. However, the last outing against the current JD Cymru Premier Champions would end in a 3-1 defeat in our Nathaniel MG Cup Quarter Final tie. Prior to the last league meeting, the Lakesiders were winless in their last 19 meetings with the New Saints in all competitions.
