The Lakesiders make the trip down South for the second time in a week following our meeting with Pontypridd United just a week ago, as we head even further South to face Barry Town.
The Town were knocked out of the Nathaniel MG Cup this past week, as Guilsfield of the Cymru North scored the only goal in the tie, as our defence of the Cup came to a disappointing end. However, with our unbeaten run still going strong in the JD Cymru Premier, the Town will look to continue our good run of form in the league and continue to close the gap at the top of the table.
Barry are without a win in the Cymru Premier this season, and are currently in the relegation zone along with Aberystwyth Town. The South Wales side have registered three draws so far and will surely be looking for their first win very soon.

Danger Man
Ollie Hulbert - The 21 year old joined Barry during the past summer transfer window, after a brief spell at Leamington on loan from Yeovil Town. The Forward returns to the Cymru Premier following a season long loan at Cardiff Met in 2020, and has returned with a flurry of goals in his opening seven league appearances of the season, featuring in every league game so far and netting three goals in the process. Hulbert will be looking to add to his tally, with Barry yet to register a victory in the league this season and are stuck in the relegation zone with Aberystwyth Town.
Previous Meetings
The Lakesiders are unbeaten in our last five meetings with Barry, registering three wins and two draws in those five meetings, with Barry's last victory in this fixture coming in the 2020/21 season, as the Club from Jenner Park dismantled a Bala side 6-2, despite the Lakesiders opening up the scoring in the 2nd minute of the match. Our last meeting was just over a month ago, as we opened up our Cymru Premier season with a 1-0 victory courtesy of an Iwan Roberts last minute winner at Maes Tegid.
