Danger Man

Sam Jones - With Eliot Evans out through suspension, the Met will look to Sam Jones to provide the goals on Matchday Two, having topped the Met's goalscoring charts last season with 10 league goals in 31 league appearances. The 25 year old is yet to open his account for the season, however with six goals in his first four league appearances last season, there's no doubt the Forward will be trying to replicate his early season form from last year in this year's Cymru Premier opening fixtures.

Previous Meetings

Both sides have had their fair share of success in recent meetings, with both Met and the Lakesiders sharing two victories each in our last six meetings in all competitions. In the last 10 meetings, we have seen four draws between the two sides, including three scoreless draws. The last meeting between the two sides was at the back end of last season, as Cardiff Met clinched a 2-1 victory at Cyncoed, despite the Lakesiders pushing for a late comeback having been 2-0 down up until the 75th minute.
