The Lakesiders head South once again, as they make the trip to the Capital to face Cardiff Met at Cyncoed Campus, as the search for the first three points in the Championship Conference continues for the Town.
It was a disappointing result last time out, as the Town faced defeat at the hands of Caernarfon Town at Maes Tegid, with the Canaries running out 3-1 victors.
The Met would also face the same scoreline in their last outing, as the New Saints scored two second half goals to complete the victory and taking the 3-1 win.

Danger Man
Eliot Evans: The ever present Eliot Evans remains to be a prominent figure in the Met side, scoring five goals in 21 matches so far this league season, with one goal in each of the Nathaniel MG Cup and JD Welsh Cup. The 33 year old scored the only goal for the Met in their last outing, as they would succumb to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of the New Saints. In the reverse fixture at Maes Tegid in Phase One, Evans would score the only goal of the game in a 1-0 victory for the Met in a first for the University side since September 2019 at the Laksiders' home, with Eliot Evans also scoring on that day.
Previous Meetings
The last meeting between the two sides served up a goal fest, with a share of six goals as the match ended 3-3 after the home side fought back from 3-1 down at Cyncoed Campus. Apart from our last meeting, there has been a lack of goals in the five meetings prior, with just five goals scored between the two sides. So far this season, it's the Met who hold the bragging rights with a 1-0 victory at Maes Tegid courtesy of an Eliot Evans goal in the first half. In last season's meetings, both sides recorded a victory each and two draws, with the Town's victory coming in the Championship Conference at Cyncoed Campus, as George Newell's 51st minute goal was enough to secure the points.
