It's JD Welsh Cup Semi Final day for the Town, as we head to the OPS Wind Arena in Llandudno to take on Connah's Quay Nomads in a repeat of last year's Semi Final!
The Town head into the Semi Final with no defeats in our last five outings, including a 1-0 win over the Nomads at Maes Tegid to kick start the month of March, after a penalty from George Newell secured the win.
The Nomads on the other hand, have faced three defeats on the bounce with defeats to Caernarfon Town, The New Saints and the Lakesiders. However, prior to the last three defeats the Nomads recorded three wins on the bounce, with wins against Cardiff Met, Buckley Town and Newtown.

Danger Man
Jordan Davies - The 28 year old has been the stand-out man for the Nomads this season, with 18 goals to his name in the JD Cymru Premier and has seven goals and three assists in just four appearances in the JD Welsh Cup this season. The Forward; who's next destination is Scottish side Greenock Morton having signed a pre-agreement with the Club for this summer, will be looking to bring his Nomads stint to a successful close with silverware still up for grabs. Davies was recently called up to the Cymru C squad in their match against England C, and almost completed the full 90 minutes after being substituted for Ben Ahmun in the 89th minute.
Previous Meetings
The Lakesiders are unbeaten in our last three meetings with the Nomads, with two 1-0 wins and a 1-1 draw all coming in this season's JD Cymru Premier. Overall, the Nomads have been victorious just once in our last eight meetings in all competitions, with their last victory coming in at Maes Tegid in March last year as first half goals from Harry Franklin and George Horan either side of a George Newell goal; was enough for the Nomads that time round. Both sides met in last season's JD Welsh Cup Semi Final, and it would be the Town that came out on top with a 3-2 win courtesy of goals from Nathan Peate, George Newell and Chris Venables.
