Following the postponement of last weekend's home fixture against Pontypridd United, the Lakesiders are back in action this weekend, as we travel to the Essity Stadium to take on Flint Town.
The Town are coming into this match on the back of a superb 4-1 win against Aberystwyth Town, despite going down to 10 men from the second minute. After a tough start to the season, we'll be looking for our first back to back wins of the season, as we look to climb up the table.

Danger Man
Okera Simmonds - Summer signing Okera Simmonds has got off to a flying start with his new club, as the 22 year old Forward has notched three goals in his first four league appearances for the Silkmen. Simmonds came through the youth system at Liverpool FC, playing for their U18's and then making a move to Blackburn Rovers U21's. The Manchester born player even featured for England's U16's side, making five appearances for his country's youth side. Should he feature today, he will definitely be a threat following his superb start to the season.
Previous Meetings
It's been a clean sweep of victories for the Lakesiders in the most recent meetings with the Silkmen, with six victories out of six in league matches. The most recent meeting wasn't short of controversy, as Antony Kay was sent off after a very poor decision from the officials, however a back post tap in from Nathan Peate was enough for the three points in a difficult evening at the Essity Stadium.
