Match Preview: Newtown vs Bala Town
Latham Park will be the venue the Lakesiders will look to right the wrongs from bonfire night’s disastrous performance against Connah’s Quay as Bala take on Newtown. The Robins have had fantastic season up to this point, having captured a total of 22 points, sitting 3rd in the league table.
We faced Newtown only two weeks ago when the Lakesiders progressed into the semi-finals of the Nathaniel MG Cup with a 3-1 victory at Maes Tegid. Dangerman Aaron Williams scored ten minutes into proceeding that night, before a first-half turnaround and an additional second-half own goal saw Bala progress in the cup.
