Danger Man

Corey Shephard - The 25 year old made the short move from Haverfordwest County to Pontypridd United during the summer transfer window, despite playing a pivotal role for the Bluebirds in their European Play-Off triumph. Shephard will look to play a pivotal role with his new Club once again this season, as Ponty have made a great start to their season, with only two defeats in their opening six fixtures. Shephard has featured in all six opening fixtures, and has only failed to play the full 90 minutes once. Despite only scoring two goals so far this season, Shephard will look to be the creative spark that Ponty need him to be, if they are to keep up their early form throughout the season.

Previous Meetings

The Town have come out on top in two of the last three meetings between the two sides, with one JD Welsh Cup win and a 3-0 league victory in January this year. However, the last time the Lakesiders headed to the USW Sports Park, the home side would win 2-1 in wet and windy conditions just days into 2023.
